About the Company

Our client is an established and growing renewable energy business operating across the UK, with a strong focus on the development and operation of sustainable energy infrastructure.

The business has built a significant portfolio of renewable assets and is continuing to expand through both organic growth and the acquisition and integration of new projects. With a clear focus on maximising the value of renewable energy and environmental markets, the organisation is entering an exciting phase of growth and is investing in the people and processes required to support its expanding portfolio.

This is an opportunity to join a commercially focused business at an important stage of its development, with the opportunity to play a key role in optimising revenues, managing regulatory obligations and identifying new opportunities across the renewable gas and environmental commodities markets.

The Role

The Energy Attributes & Subsidy Manager will be responsible for maximising revenue and ensuring regulatory compliance across a growing portfolio of anaerobic digestion and biomethane assets.

The role will take ownership of environmental certificates, renewable support schemes and associated regulatory obligations, while providing commercial insight into emerging opportunities across renewable gas and environmental commodity markets.

As the portfolio continues to grow, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop scalable processes, improve existing systems and support the integration of new assets.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Optimisation

  • Maximise revenues generated through environmental certificates and renewable support schemes.
  • Monitor market conditions, pricing and commercial opportunities across relevant environmental markets.
  • Develop revenue forecasts and support annual budgeting and financial planning.
  • Analyse market trends and identify opportunities to improve commercial returns.
  • Explore new environmental products, markets and potential revenue streams.
  • Develop and implement recommendations to enhance the commercial performance of the portfolio.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
