Business Analyst (Energy Pricing Data & AI/ML)

International Tech Services Co

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
Type: Contract engagement

Role Summary

International Tech Services Co is seeking a Business Analyst Consultant with strong energy-sector knowledge and hands-on experience delivering pricing data initiatives, complemented by exposure to AI/ML projects. You will translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, align stakeholders across business and technology, and help shape practical AI-enabled use cases that deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery to clarify business goals, scope, constraints, and success metrics for energy pricing and data initiatives.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document requirements using appropriate artefacts (e.g., user stories, process maps, data mappings, acceptance criteria).
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define pricing data needs, definitions, and governance expectations across oil, power, and gas contexts.
  • Collaborate with data/engineering teams to translate business requirements into implementable technical requirements and delivery plans.
  • Support AI/ML initiatives by shaping use cases, defining inputs/outputs, documenting assumptions, and aligning stakeholders on feasibility and value.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions, ensuring clear decisions, ownership, and follow-through.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with both business and technical audiences, translating technical detail into commercial impact and vice versa.
  • Demonstrate value quickly by delivering high-quality outputs early (e.g., clear requirements packs, aligned stakeholders, reduced ambiguity, accelerated delivery).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
