About Us

At Green Energy Advice Bureau (GEAB), we’re passionate about helping businesses save money, reduce their carbon footprint and navigate the energy market with confidence.

We’re growing our Specialist Services Team and are looking for an experienced Energy Billing & Change of Tenancy Specialist to join us.

The Role

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong commercial energy billing and Change of Tenancy (COT) experience.

  • You’ll manage a live customer portfolio, investigating complex billing issues, resolving disputes, challenging suppliers and working closely with Finance to ensure accurate billing, revenue and account reconciliation.
  • You’ll also take ownership of COT activity, ensuring changes are processed correctly, customer records are accurate and issues are resolved quickly.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage complex commercial energy billing queries and disputes.
  • Investigate billing discrepancies, invoices, credits, debits, balances and supplier errors.
  • Investigate and challenge clawbacks and revenue discrepancies, working closely with Finance.
  • Liaise confidently with energy suppliers to resolve complex issues and disputes.
  • Manage Change of Tenancy (COT) across a live customer portfolio.
  • Contact customers to obtain and validate COT information.
  • Investigate failed or disputed COTs and resolve resulting billing issues.
  • Keep CRM and internal systems accurate and up to date.
  • Use Excel to analyse, reconcile and investigate billing and financial data.
  • Manage multiple cases against agreed SLAs and maintain clear audit trails.
  • Identify recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
