Role Description
The Energy Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Market Harborough or Birmingham. The Energy Consultant will advise business clients on energy procurement, efficiency measures, and renewable solutions, helping them reduce costs and carbon emissions. The role involves:
- Managing client relationships
- Coordinating with installers and internal account managers
- Handling related documentation and administrative processes
The Energy Consultant will also stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and technological developments to provide up-to-date guidance.
Qualifications
- Experience in energy consultancy, utilities, or related fields, with a strong understanding of energy markets, procurement, and efficiency solutions.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret energy usage and cost trends, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to explain technical concepts in accessible, jargon-free language.
- Proven client relationship management skills, including stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and ongoing account support.
- Comfort working on-site in Market Harborough or Birmingham, with a proactive and organized approach to managing multiple client projects.
- Relevant education or training in energy management, environmental science, engineering, business, or a related discipline is beneficial.
- Knowledge of UK energy regulations, carbon reduction initiatives, and renewable technologies is an advantage.
- Competence with common office software and CRM tools to manage documentation, reporting, and client records.
