Sustainability and Energy Sales Consultant (B2B Utilities)

£30,000 – £45,000 Basic Salary (DOE) + Uncapped Commission

About the Opportunity

We are a fast-growing, forward-thinking utilities brokerage seeking an ambitious Business Consultant to join their high-performing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the utilities market who thrives in a consultative sales environment and wants to benefit from a genuinely uncapped commission structure.
The Role
As a Business Consultant, you will take ownership of the full 180° sales process, including:

- Proactively generating and developing new B2B business opportunities
- Building, managing, and growing your own client portfolio
- Identifying client needs and providing tailored utility solutions
- Managing opportunities through the sales cycle before handing over to the pricing specialist
- Developing long-term client relationships to maximise retention and revenue opportunities
This is a highly consultative role where your market knowledge, credibility, and commercial acumen will directly influence your earnings and career progression.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a B2B utilities or energy brokerage environment (essential)
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong business development and lead generation capabilities
- Experience managing the complete 180° sales process
- Excellent communication, objection-handling, and negotiation skills
- Commercially minded with a customer-focused approach
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-driven
