About The Opportunity

A forward-thinking recruitment agency specializing in energy, sustainability, and infrastructure roles, we partner with leading UK firms to place high-impact professionals who drive decarbonization, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Our clients span utilities, industrial manufacturing, public sector, and renewable energy developers—seeking consultants who combine technical know-how with commercial acumen to deliver measurable energy savings and ESG outcomes.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site energy audits for commercial, industrial, and public-sector clients to identify inefficiencies and savings opportunities.
  • Model energy consumption patterns and ROI for proposed efficiency upgrades using tools like SBEM, IES VE, or EnergyPlus.
  • Prepare technically robust proposals and feasibility reports aligned with Net Zero targets, ESOS, SECR, and Part L compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to design retrofit strategies—HVAC, lighting, insulation, renewables integration.
  • Advocate for client adoption of smart metering, demand-side response, and carbon reporting software platforms.
  • Support post-installation validation, performance tracking, and continuous improvement of energy management systems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
