Energy Data Analyst

Salary: £31,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus annual bonus and other Veolia benefits.

Location: Hybrid - London, Kingscross N1 9JY

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week, Monday - Friday)

What we're looking for

  • Large dataset analysis and statistics to identify cost control and cost reduction.
  • Support development and maintenance of databases that can be used for invoice validation, cost reconciliation and supplier portfolio management.
  • Maintenance and distribution of relevant information and reports to stakeholders.
  • Producing and keeping up to date documentation pertaining to reporting, data pipelines and databases.
  • Responding to incoming queries on reports and various data requests.
  • Interrogating and validating datasets in development environments to ensure they match source data and requirements.
  • Maintain procedures and controls required to manage the datasets.
  • Interact on a regular basis with the front, middle and back office.
  • Ensure on-time validation of group expenditure or incomes from electricity supply agreements and incentives through a dedicated invoice validation system.
  • Produce and maintain documentation on invoice validation system.
  • Timely provision of information to front-office and operational teams to manage Group energy contract negotiations.

What we're looking for:

  • Applicants should enjoy the development of digital platforms with a highly numerate, methodical and analytical approach.
  • Exposure to energy markets is not essential although this would be highly beneficial.
  • Applicants should have experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience with SQL is not essential however this would be beneficial.
  • Proven project management skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
