Governance & Business Support Coordinator

Fully Remote – UK | Permanent | Urgent Hire

We are supporting a well-established organisation within the UK energy and utilities sector with an urgent requirement for a Governance & Business Support Coordinator.

This is a varied role combining administration, meeting support, stakeholder coordination, and governance responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, confident working with senior stakeholders, and comfortable taking ownership of meeting preparation, documentation, and follow-up actions.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating internal and external meetings
  • Preparing agendas, papers, and supporting documentation
  • Taking clear and accurate meeting minutes
  • Tracking actions and following up with stakeholders
  • Supporting diary and meeting coordination
  • Maintaining documentation and internal records
  • Managing correspondence and shared inboxes
  • Providing general administrative support across the wider team
  • Ensuring key deadlines and actions are followed through
  • Supporting improvements to internal processes and ways of working

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within the energy, utilities, or a regulated industry
  • Strong administration, governance, business support, or EA experience
  • Confident minute-taking skills
  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Experience within a regulated, technical, or stakeholder-led environment would be advantageous. This could suit someone currently working as a Governance Coordinator, Business Support Coordinator, Executive Assistant, Secretariat Officer, Committee Administrator, or Operations Administrator.

Location

Fully remote within the UK, with occasional travel for key meetings.
