About the Role
Here at ISS, as a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider, we are now looking for an Energy Manager to come in and join an existing Government contract where we provide full FM services across their Estate.
Here, you will take ownership of Energy Optimisation programme across Government sites, ranging from Highstreet buildings to larger corporate offices
You will be taking a lead role in delivering year-on-year energy-saving reductions to meet client’s ambitious energy and carbon reduction targets, developing and implementing energy cost-saving measures – advising on energy solutions, undertaking energy surveys etc.
This will be across technical solutions, looking at the BMS, HVAC systems etc and more behavioural, "soft" energy management

Specific Actions
- To ensure the effective management of energy resources to meet ISS’s and client’s objectives and targets.
- To identify, develop and support the implementation of new energy related opportunities.
- Carry out all energy related tasks to ensure service provision and compliance
- To motivate and train colleagues and customer organisations in good energy management practices
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the energy requirements (legal, statutory and technical issues) which are applicable to and/or affect the Clients business.
- Promote energy efficiency and provide advice and support for the development of energy efficient practices
- Develop energy saving conservation measures (ECM’s) with associated Return on Investment (ROI)
