Energy & Utilities Manager
Contract: 18 months FTC
Location: Dunstable, Bedfordshire (Hybrid Working)

We're now looking for an Energy Manager to lead the development and delivery of our energy management strategy, driving projects that reduce costs, optimise utility consumption, and support our ambitious net zero commitments.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering projects that reduce energy consumption, carbon emissions, and operating costs across our hotel and restaurant estate.
- Identifying, trialling, and evaluating emerging technologies to create a pipeline of future energy and carbon savings opportunities.
- Managing energy budgets, utility contracts, and supplier relationships to drive value and performance.
- Working closely with Operations, Property, Finance, and Procurement teams to improve energy performance across the UK estate.
- Developing standards for mechanical and electrical services to ensure future developments are optimised for energy and carbon efficiency.
- Managing external consultants, contractors, and project managers delivering high-value energy and carbon reduction projects.

What you'll bring
- Experience in energy management, utilities management, or property-related environments.
- Strong understanding of energy management, technologies, and consumption reduction strategies.
- Experience working within a large multi-site organisation.
- Ability to develop compelling investment cases and business proposals.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Commercially minded with the ability to balance sustainability objectives with financial returns.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
