About Us

At NHS Property Services, we believe our people are our greatest asset. That’s why we’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive. Our People Strategy, Get, Grow, and Keep Great People, is all about building a values-driven culture where colleagues and customers are at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Energy Reporting Manager to join our Energy and Sustainability team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping NHS Property Services' sustainability agenda, leading our carbon and energy reporting activities while supporting our journey to Net Zero. You will manage a team of Energy Analysts and provide expert insight that helps drive strategic decisions across one of the largest healthcare estates in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the production and submission of NHS Property Services' carbon reporting and annual emissions disclosures.
  • Ensure compliance with carbon reporting requirements and sustainability reporting standards.
  • Analyse large and complex energy datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce reports and performance packs that support business planning and decision-making.
  • Support the organisation's Net Zero strategy, including modelling and reporting against carbon reduction targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of energy and sustainability projects.
  • Provide leadership and development support to the Energy Analyst team.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to influence sustainable property strategies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
