About the Role
Ampergia is seeking an experienced energy professional with expertise in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) to support the technical and commercial delivery of renewable energy projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the sizing, modelling and optimisation of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Assess load profiles, grid constraints and energy consumption to develop optimal storage solutions.
- Support the structuring, evaluation and negotiation of commercial and utility-scale Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
- Develop financial and techno-economic models for renewable energy and battery storage projects.
- Analyse UK electricity markets, energy pricing and commercial opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, commercial and project teams to deliver technically robust and commercially viable solutions.
- Provide technical expertise during client engagements and project development.

Requirements
- Proven experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including battery sizing and optimisation.
- Strong understanding of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and UK energy markets.
- Experience in renewable energy, energy engineering, energy consultancy or financial modelling.
- Excellent analytical, commercial and stakeholder management skills.
