Are you passionate about making a difference in communities?
We’re looking for an experienced Enforcement Officer to join our Neighbourhoods team and help us deliver a high-quality tenancy enforcement service across Bury.
You’ll be responsible for tackling tenancy breaches, including anti-social behaviour and no-access cases, while building strong relationships with tenants, colleagues, and partner agencies. You’ll provide expert advice and take robust enforcement action where needed, helping us maintain safe and thriving neighbourhoods.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading on tenancy enforcement cases and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Supporting colleagues and tenants with advice on enforcement-related issues.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
- Contributing to service improvements and promoting best practice.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience in tenancy enforcement or a similar housing role.
- Strong knowledge of housing legislation and enforcement procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel across the borough.
- Flexibility to work from the office, on-site, and from home.
