The Chief of Staff Association is the international professional body for chiefs of staff. Our members sit at the centre of leadership in over 75 countries, working inside some of the world's most influential organisations. Purpose of the Role
This role sits at the centre of how we serve members across EMEA. Working closely with the Engagement Lead, you will help ensure members are well connected, well supported and getting genuine value from their membership.
You will start by building a strong understanding of our member base, our programmes and how engagement works in practice across the region. Over time, as your knowledge and relationships deepen, you will take on greater responsibility for how we show up for members across EMEA and beyond.
This is a role for someone who is organised and dependable, but also curious and commercially aware. You will need to understand the world our members operate in and bring genuine interest in their challenges.

Compensation: £32,000 - £35,000
Location: Full time in our central London office

Key Responsibilities
Member Growth
- Support follow-up to discovery calls and assist with conversion of prospective members.
- Build knowledge of the chief of staff role and the leadership landscape across EMEA.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of regional sales campaigns, bringing local insight where you can.

- Help gather and write up case studies, testimonials and regional success stories.
- Use CRM data to identify patterns and flag opportunities to improve retention and engagement.
- Contribute to quarterly and annual business planning.
- Share learnings and collaborate with Engagement Associates across other regions.
Member Engagement
- Support the Engagement Lead in maintaining active, meaningful relationships with members across the region.
- Help monitor renewal cycles and flag upcoming renewals in good time.
- Assist with the coordination and delivery of in-person and virtual events.
- Support speakers to prepare well and create useful experiences for attendees.
- Help drive event attendance and capture feedback and insights afterwards.
- Assist with member onboarding, helping new members understand what is available to them and how to make the most of it.
- Respond to member queries and direct them to relevant resources and programmes.

Data and Administration
- Keep HubSpot records accurate and up to date after every significant member interaction.
- Note relevant changes in member context, including role changes, team shifts or emerging priorities.
- Support the Engagement Lead in preparing regional reports and insight summaries.
- Help maintain data quality so the team has a reliable picture of member engagement across the region.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in a member-facing, client-facing or relationship-focused role.
- Genuine interest in leadership, organisational strategy and the chief of staff function.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with senior professionals.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage several priorities at once.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools, ideally HubSpot.
- Clear written and verbal communication in English. Additional European languages are an advantage.
- Self-motivated, with the curiosity and drive to grow into broader responsibility over time.
