Project Centre is a leading design, engineering, and landscape architecture consultancy whose highly talented people are passionate about creating places that are attractive, innovative, sustainable, and safe.

Our approach to integrated design produces award-winning results that have won international recognition. Led by a forward-thinking management team, we work together in multi-disciplinary teams that provide services that are well thought out and sustainable.

About The Role

Help shape the places people live, work, and travel. What if your work could help give communities a genuine voice in the decisions that shape their everyday lives? At Project Centre, that’s exactly what you’ll be part of.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Engagement Consultant to join our growing Communications and Engagement team. You’ll help deliver meaningful consultation, community engagement, communications, and behaviour change programmes for local authorities and other clients, working on projects that can make a real difference to communities, active travel, the environment, and air quality.

This is a varied, fast-paced role for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and turning insight into action.

What you will be doing:

  • Creating compelling content — writing consultation materials, developing resources, and producing communications that encourage people to have their say and get involved.
  • Building relationships — identifying key stakeholders, connecting with community groups, and developing positive, collaborative relationships.
  • Bringing people together — helping plan, coordinate, and deliver public and stakeholder events, both online and in person. Some events may take place outside office hours or on weekends.
  • Listening and learning — collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative feedback to identify trends, understand community views, and help shape recommendations.
  • Spotting opportunities and risks — understanding what could affect a project and knowing when to raise issues with the wider team.
  • Getting stuck in — supporting with data entry, stakeholder and community mapping, event logistics, and a range of content creation activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
