Job Description
Engagement Director, Strategic Clients
Location: U.K. remote, or hybrid (London office)
About the role
The Engagement Director, Strategic, is a senior individual contributor on Intapp’s professional services team, responsible for guiding some of the firm’s most complex and high-profile client engagements. Working directly with executive stakeholders, you will provide strategic oversight, industry insight, and trusted advisory leadership across a small number of high-impact programs — ensuring Intapp solutions deliver measurable business value aligned to each client’s long-term objectives.
In this highly visible role, you act as the executive point of accountability for program success. You’ll partner closely with client sponsors and senior stakeholders to align technology investments with business outcomes, oversee interconnected delivery initiatives, and maintain strong executive relationships throughout the engagement lifecycle. Success here requires more than program management expertise — you must engage confidently at the C-suite level, understand your clients’ business and industry context, and provide leadership that extends well beyond project delivery.
What you will do:
Executive leadership and client partnership
- Serve as the primary executive partner and trusted advisor to client sponsors and senior stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client executives, providing strategic guidance and proactively addressing risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Lead executive governance processes, including planning and facilitating steering committee meetings with C-suite stakeholders.
- Act as Intapp’s executive representative, ensuring a consistent and exceptional client experience across all services and support engagements.
- Leverage industry expertise and business acumen to advise clients on best practices, operating models, and strategies that maximize the value of their Intapp investment.
Program strategy and governance
- Own overall program success, client satisfaction, and value realization across assigned engagements.
- Develop and manage integrated program plans, ensuring alignment across projects, workstreams, dependencies, milestones, and strategic objectives.
- Establish effective governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into program performance, risks, and outcomes.
- Drive executive decision-making by presenting clear recommendations, status updates, and mitigation strategies.
Delivery oversight and value realization
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to project managers, architects, consultants, and other key delivery stakeholders.
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure Intapp solutions remain aligned with client business goals, operational processes, and long-term technology strategies.
- Engage directly during critical delivery phases to remove obstacles, manage stakeholder expectations, mitigate risks, and drive successful outcomes.
- Champion value realization by helping clients maximize the benefits of the broader Intapp platform and its integrated capabilities.
- Collaborate with solution architects and technical leaders to ensure solutions are designed and implemented to optimize performance, scalability, and business impact.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
