Job Overview
Are you an experienced engagement and events professional with strong project-management skills and a passion for creating meaningful public-facing experiences? Join our friendly and ambitious Engagement team, where you’ll play a key role in delivering standout engagement activity and shape high-quality events supporting stakeholder, public and community engagement.
Reporting To The Stakeholder Engagement Manager You Will
- Deliver engagement events across physical, hybrid and online formats, including the University’s flagship Campus in the city and key stakeholder activities
- Create engaging promotional content for events and stakeholder communications
- Co-ordinate public-facing activities at festivals and community events
Research and Enterprise Services (RES)
As Engagement and Events Officer, you’ll be part of the Engagement team in RES, which delivers sector-leading research, enterprise, innovation and engagement services. The Engagement team raises Lancaster University’s profile with key stakeholders through an annual engagement programme, leads civic engagement and provides high-quality public and academic policy engagement support.

About You
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:
- Ability to plan and run high-quality events
- Strong project-management skills
- Experience of building effective relationships
- Experience of creating engaging content for communication channels and promotional materials
- A team-oriented, flexible approach
