About Novee
Novee is an AI platform transforming how insurers assess risk. We are a team of 12, backed by $2.2m from 42CAP and Insurtech Gateway, and already work with some of the largest insurers in the London Market, processing billions of pounds of premium a year through the platform.
Commercial and specialty insurance is a $1 trillion industry that quietly powers the global economy. Behind every plane, power plant or stadium is a complex web of risk decisions that still rely heavily on manual processes and gut feel. Underwriting teams trawl through documents and emails just to decide whether to take on a risk. We turn that clutter into fast, structured insights so insurers can make better, faster decisions.
If you want to help modernise a critical but overlooked industry, working at the intersection of technology, customers and strategy, we'd love to talk.
The Role
We are hiring an Engagement Manager to run proofs of concept (POCs) with prospective clients and take new clients into production on the Novee platform. The role is central to how we grow: you will be the person who helps clients realise the strategic and operational value of Novee. It is a broad, hands-on and client-facing role working closely with founders, sales, product and engineering.
For most of our clients, Novee will be the first AI product they use in their day-to-day work beyond general tools like Copilot. You will guide them through that change, from the first working session to live use across their underwriting team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The role suits someone client-focused and structured who can pick up a complex domain quickly. Insurance experience helps but is not required.
What You'll Do
- Work on client POCs: define success criteria, build the business case, capture requirements and drive the engagement through to a production contract
- Lead onboarding and enablement: run working sessions, configure the platform, deliver training and help users get the most from Novee
- Build strong relationships across client teams, from hands-on users to senior sponsors, and develop champions among them
- Drive adoption: monitor usage, and spot and resolve concerns early
- Scope and manage integrations into clients' downstream systems, coordinating between client teams and Novee engineering
- Turn client feedback into product improvement: troubleshoot issues with engineering, and work with product to prioritise the changes that matter most to clients and to our commercial strategy
What Success looks like after Six Months
- You understand the platform and the underwriting workflows it supports well enough to run a POC largely independently for clients
- You have delivered POCs for 3 clients, all converted into production
- You have taken 10 product improvements from client feedback through to release with product and engineering
