Warner Scott is partnering with a leading global advisory firm to hire an Engagement Manager into its Industrial Products, Technology & Services strategy team.
About the team
The team delivers Commercial Due Diligence and growth strategy work for high-growth businesses and their investors. Recent projects include renewable energy, health and safety in the built environment, residential building upgrades and automotive design. It is a sector-focused team led by a Partner and Director from top-tier strategy consulting backgrounds, and it is growing.
The role
You will lead CDD projects day to day, working with the Partner to structure engagements, running workstreams, managing the team and owning quality of delivery. Alongside project work, you will contribute to proposals, thought leadership and practice development, and play an active role in developing junior team members, who will be staffed on most of your projects.

Responsibilities
- Lead CDD and growth strategy projects from scoping through to delivery
- Oversee workstreams, deliverables, team management and quality control
- Review the deals market for potential targets and sub-sectors of interest
- Contribute to proposals, methodologies and thought leadership
- Coach and develop junior team members
- Evaluate and trial new technology to improve how the team works
- Lead on risk management, ethics and quality across your engagements

This role requires existing manager-level experience in Commercial Due Diligence. You should have:
- A track record of running CDD projects or workstreams across multiple deals, ideally within a strategy, TS or advisory firm
- Growth strategy project experience
- Exposure to B2B, industrials, manufacturing or services sectors (deep specialism not required)
- Experience managing and developing teams
- Working knowledge of quality, ethics and independence
