About You

Do you want to take on senior ownership of strategic market access consulting, shaping how innovative therapies reach patients?

Are you passionate about leading teams through high-impact challenges in oncology, rare diseases, and specialty care, where access strategy can truly change lives?

Do you enjoy solving complex problems at the intersection of science, value, pricing, and payer decision-making, while building the people and capabilities around you?

Are you looking to join a high-growth, entrepreneurial consultancy where you can hold senior client relationships, sponsor projects, and help shape the direction of the practice?

If so, consider a career at Prescient.

We're looking for an Engagement Manager to join our Value Price Access practice, built on the expertise of Dolon, now part of Prescient.

About our Value Price Access Practice (Dolon, a Prescient Company)

With the integration of Dolon, Prescient has launched a dedicated Value Price Access practice, combining deep technical expertise with strategic advisory capabilities.

Dolon brings a strong heritage in:

  • Global pricing and access strategy
  • Payer insights and HTA strategy
  • Access strategy in complex and high-value therapeutic areas

Our work is particularly differentiated in oncology and rare diseases, where:

  • Pricing and access decisions are highly scrutinised
  • Evidence requirements are complex and evolving
  • Strategic choices have significant patient and commercial implications

As part of Prescient, we now deliver fully integrated strategy across Commercial, Medical, Competitive Strategy and Access, helping clients maximise asset value across the entire product life cycle.

This is a unique opportunity to join a specialist, strategy-led access team within a broader, market-leading consultancy platform.

About the Opportunity

As an Engagement Manager, you will take on both project management and project sponsorship responsibilities — acting as the transition point between overseeing day-to-day delivery and holding senior accountability for client relationships, team leadership and practice growth.

You will work across a range of project types, including product-level pricing, access and value projects, and cross-portfolio strategy and policy work. While the ability to work across the breadth of the practice's service lines is important, Engagement Managers are expected to develop particular depth in specific service offerings, and are staffed on projects that reflect their expertise and interests where possible.

You will work on critical questions such as:

  • How should a client's overall pricing and access strategy evolve across a full portfolio?
  • What evidence and value narrative is required to support access in rare diseases?
  • How can pricing strategy be optimised and defended across global markets?
  • What are the payer risks across a programme, and how can they be mitigated early?

Your time will be broadly split across:

  • ~70% project delivery and project sponsorship
  • ~30% team leadership, client development, and practice-building initiatives

You'll be part of a fast-growing, PE-backed organisation, where senior consultants can shape both client impact and the future of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project Delivery

  • Manage and increasingly sponsor multiple value, pricing and access strategy projects across the product life cycle, including complex, higher-value engagements
  • Write and oversee project proposals, defining scope, methods and budget
  • Plan and monitor project resources and timelines across concurrent engagements
  • Facilitate client workshops and advisory boards
  • Provide strategic direction to project teams, ensuring translation of research and evidence into insights and recommendations
  • Define and oversee data analyses, with support from Prescient's Data & Analytics capabilities
  • Oversee the quality and content of deliverables produced by the project team
  • Deliver reports, analyses and presentations to senior client stakeholders

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
