How you'll contribute

  • Collaborate with engineers to build and deliver new platform capabilities.
  • Engage in hands-on programming, including coding, pair programming, and testing.
  • Participate in regular scrum ceremonies, contributing to the agile development process.
  • Work closely with the technical lead to build out Stratus Capabilities for other teams to leverage.
  • Implement Continuous Delivery practices to ensure fast and high-quality code deployment.
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) thoughtfully to improve efficiency and code quality.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in crafting modern.NET applications using C# 12+ (including.NET 8+ and NuGet).
  • Expertise in crafting robust HTTP APIs with tools such as ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Carter, or Nancy.
  • Experience navigating Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) cloud environments.
  • Proven experience with Event-Driven Architecture, designing systems that react in real-time.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Octopus).
  • Knowledge of Event-Sourced Systems, building architectures that track every state change.
  • Ability to thrive in autonomous, agile environments where daily innovation is the norm.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience with Event-Driven Architecture, designing systems that react in real-time.
  • Knowledge of Event-Sourced Systems, building architectures that track every state change.
  • Experience working with distributed, scalable database solutions.
  • Familiarity with Event Sourced architectures.
