Job Description

As a Engineer, you will be responsible for installation, commissioning, service & maintenance, across a range of client sites and when required nationwide with travel and flexibility is essential for this role. We consider our people our greatest asset and all we ask is that our Engineers take pride in what they do and demonstrate commitment to delivering the highest level of service to our customers.

For This Opportunity, We Are Looking For Candidates Who Offer:

  • Demonstrable experience working as a CCTV or systems Engineer
  • Strong working knowledge of CCTV systems, including installation and commissioning
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and stay away from home when required
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Professional, customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
  • Organised and capable of managing workloads to meet deadlines
  • The confidence and professionalism to advise senior colleagues when issues need urgent action

What you'll be doing

As a Security Systems Engineer, you will be required to: [Not limited to]

  • Install, remove, maintain and repair our temporary, rapid deployment and fixed CCTV and towers systems in line with Bauwatch standards
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and industry regulations.
  • Support overall site security by upholding best practice and proactively identifying improvements.
  • Transport and collect equipment, materials and assets as required for site works.
  • Report unsafe acts, near misses and positive observations, contributing to a strong safety culture.

  • Install, maintain and repair CCTV systems in line with relevant standards.
  • Carry out full system commissioning and ensure successful handover to the client
  • Attend sites to finalise installation works and complete commissioning activities when required
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers on full CCTV installations when required
  • Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and other stakeholders
  • Travel to customer sites and remain flexible with overnight stays when required
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and industry regulations
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and site access requirements

Desirable

  • ECS / FESS Card
  • Experience working within SSAIB / NSI accredited organisation
  • Experience with intruder alarms, access control, door entry installations
  • IPAF / PASMA licence
