Your Responsibilities
- Take a lead on projects or initiatives; ensuring all projects/initiatives are well planned prior to start up thus ensuring the design phase of the project is completed to schedule and budget; planning will require as a minimum the production and maintenance of the following throughout the lifecycle of the project/initiative:
- A drawing list;
- A resource plan;
- A bar chart showing when drawings and documents will be produced in accordance with the overarching project/initiative schedule.
- Create, develop and maintain a consistent set of Parker drafting standards and practices for producing all models/drawing deliverables in a consistent format and manner.
- Based on World’s Best Practice, produce a set of Parker processes to enable efficient delivery.
- Collaborating with other functions within Execution and in the wider organisation to provide value in terms of support, advice, guidance, optimisation of resources.
- Production of accurate 3D models and 2D drawings in a timely and efficient manner.
- Working closely with the Engineering Lead to support project needs.
- Pro-active in keeping up to date with CAD software, systems and developments.

Who We Are Looking For
- HND or equivalent professional experience
- Fluency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
- Good knowledge and understanding of Meridian document management system
- Knowledge of current drawing practices, including welding symbols, fabrication techniques, industry standards
- Willingness & ability to travel internationally, up to 20% working time
Ideally, you will also have
- Experience of sheet metal fabrication
- Experience and demonstrated success working in a cross-functional engineering environment.
- Awareness of international engineering standards, regulations and export control requirements.
