Assisting our 24 hours a day, 7 days a week operation, you'll have the opportunity to work on your own initiative and as part of cross-functional teams, adapting to the needs of the business while contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-performing environment.

  • Provide engineering assistance to production, reacting to breakdowns and resolving faults to minimise downtime
  • Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and performance
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and programmable logic controller (PLC) faults across a wide range of plant equipment
  • Follow all health and safety, food safety and legal compliance requirements, ensuring company procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Oversee external contractors, ensuring safe and compliant working practices
  • Escalate unresolved equipment issues and contribute to Manufacturing Operating System (MOS) meetings where required
  • Identify and deliver opportunities to improve asset reliability, maintenance processes and operational performance.
  • Assist continuous improvement projects through root cause evaluation and corrective actions
  • Accurately record maintenance activities using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Deliver effective shift handovers to colleagues and managers to ensure continuity across teams
  • Coach, assist and share knowledge with engineers, operators and apprentices to promote development and safe working practices
  • Assist the transfer of basic engineering skills to operational teams where appropriate
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties required to assist the engineering function and business goals

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
