You work as part of a cross-functional team to lead and deliver the activities required to complete Process Design and Process Deployment for Innovation, Growth and Productivity projects across multiple geographies with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
With the support of a manager and technical coaches, you will design and implement projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements and effectively communicate project statuses and risks. As part of that planning process, you will conduct activities to generate the appropriate process information, using modelling, simulations, and pilot plant and plant trials in accordance with good manufacturing practices and HACCP requirements. You will also plan and conduct process development activities including process design and specifications, process scale-up and commissioning, technical risk assessments and create and maintain accurate consumer centric process specifications. In this role, you will assist in planning the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies, and manage stakeholders, making recommendations and influencing decisions based on analysis and interpretation of data. You will also create intellectual property to drive competitive advantage.

Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance and/or productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will complete IDBs, plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate process specifications.
What you will bring

- Degree in food science or engineering
- Working in teams and independently with the guidance of a manager
- Prioritizing and managing activities
- Identifying and implementing solutions with the guidance of a manager
- Applying fundamental technical understanding to interpret and analyze data to reach clear conclusions
- Communicating effectively verbally and in writing, including technical writing
More about this role
What you need to know about this position:
- The holder of this position will be accountable for the process R&D aspects within the IIM framework for projects covering all platforms, e.g. tablets, seasonals etc. The right person for this role delivers the technical knowledge for the function, develops solutions to problems, whilst ensuring compliance to technical policies & procedures. This will require working in a cross-functional project team working with ISC, marketing, procurement, suppliers, external manufacturers and other RDQ functions.

What extra ingredients you will bring:
- Initial experience working within an RDQ environment within the food industry, ideally within process development roles. Experience within confectionery or bakery categories is an advantage.
- Good understanding of RDQ product and process specifications.
- Good knowledge of chocolate category regarding raw materials, processing, manufacturing and formulation fundamentals is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English is a must, other European languages are an advantage.
Travel requirements:
- You will be required to travel to Mondelez's sites within EU (incl. Norway and Switzerland), suppliers and external manufacturers as projects require ~20% of time
Work schedule:
- Full-time (36hrs, flexible)
