Mobile Engineer – Erith
07:00–16:30 | 42 hours per week

We’re looking for an experienced Mobile Engineer to join our team in Erith, supporting customers directly at their sites and keeping their equipment safe, reliable and ready to work.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role where no two days are the same. You’ll manage planned servicing alongside responding to breakdowns, helping to keep our customers and their operations moving.
The role
As a Mobile Engineer, You’ll Be Responsible For
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing equipment at customer sites
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance in line with service schedules
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
- Responding to equipment breakdowns and getting customers back up and running
- Carrying out equipment inspections and safety checks
- Keeping accurate service and maintenance records
- Managing your workload effectively while working independently
- Providing a professional and helpful service to our customers
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure equipment remains safe and reliable

What You’ll Need
- Previous mechanical engineering experience – ideally within hire, plant or a similar engineering environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A strong focus on safety and customer service
- A flexible and team-focused approach
