Elastic Data Migration Engineer
Overview
Seeking an experienced Elastic engineer to design, implement, and support data ingestion and migration solutions for large-scale environments. The role involves building reliable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and optimising Elastic platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Elastic data ingestion pipelines.
- Migrate and validate large datasets into Elasticsearch.
- Configure data streams, index templates, mappings, and lifecycle policies.
- Troubleshoot data ingestion, performance, and mapping issues.
- Collaborate with technical teams and produce supporting documentation.

Required Skills
- Strong experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Agent, and Fleet.
- Knowledge of ECS, ingest pipelines, and index management.
- Experience with high-volume data migration and integration.
- Familiarity with Kafka, APIs, or Syslog.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable
- Experience with Elastic Security (SIEM).
- Knowledge of ES|QL, KQL, or EQL.
- Elastic certifications are advantageous.
