Engineering Administrator

Location: Warrington, Cheshire
Salary: Competitive
Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Engineering Administrator to support our Engineering and Health & Safety (HSE) teams in Warrington.

This is a key role within the engineering function, providing essential administrative, compliance, and contractor coordination support across maintenance activities and capital projects. You will help ensure statutory inspections are managed effectively, documentation is accurate and up to date, and contractor works and invoices are processed efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have experience in engineering administration, facilities management, maintenance, or a similar regulated environment, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track statutory inspections, including electrical, drainage, DSEAR, and other compliance activities.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records, inspection reports, certification, and remedial action trackers.
  • Administer CAFM, CMMS, and compliance management systems, ensuring asset and work order data remains accurate.
  • Manage contractor documentation, including RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements), quotations, and supporting records.
  • Monitor contractor invoices and verify costs against purchase orders and completed works.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, engineers, and HSE colleagues to resolve queries and outstanding actions.
  • Support maintenance and fault management administration, ensuring the correct documentation is in place before works are authorised.
  • Produce regular reports and trackers covering compliance status, inspection deadlines, and contractor performance.
  • Assist with audits, site inspections, and quality assurance checks.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, document control, and compliance management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
