Maintenance & Engineering Manager
MCS Group is delighted to partner with our successful client, one of Northern Ireland's top FMCG companies.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and maintenance function within a busy manufacturing environment.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for plant reliability, planned maintenance, engineering standards, team leadership and capital project delivery.
As the Maintenance and Engineering Manager, you will:
- Lead and develop the maintenance and engineering team.
- Improve plant reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Manage preventative and predictive maintenance programmes.
- Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement activity.
- Manage engineering budgets, contractors and spare parts.
- Provide technical leadership across mechanical, electrical, PLC, SCADA and automation systems.
- Deliver engineering and capital projects from scope through to commissioning.
- Ensure strong health & safety, statutory and engineering compliance.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Several years of experience in a senior maintenance or engineering role within manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge with electrical and automation experience.
- Experience with CMMS, OEE, PLC, SCADA and industrial process systems.
- Proven experience managing teams, budgets, contractors and capital projects.
