ENGINEERING APPRENTICE OPPORTUNITIES
LEEDS & KNOTTINGLEY, WEST YORKSHIRE
Verallia UK is one of Europe’s most prominent manufacturers of premium glass containers, providing exceptional quality glass packaging for some of the world’s most prestigious spirit brands for almost 200 years. Glass is infinitely recyclable making it an important packaging material of today and more importantly of the future. As such, the glass industry is an exciting and sustainable business to work in and be part of.
As we start to prepare and look ahead to the next 6 months and beyond, we are looking to recruit positions to strengthen our industrial teams and build our skillsets across our plants. To support this, we are looking for highly motivated and proactive individuals to join our dynamic Engineering Teams at our Leeds and Knottingley Plants on a 4-year apprenticeship.

We are looking for apprentice engineers in the following disciplines:
- Cold End
- Machine Maintenance
- Mould Shop

- Rates of pay in line with National Minimum Wage
- An excellent bonus payment of £500 at the end of Year 1, increasing to £750 Year 2 and £1000 paid on successful completion of the year.
- Structured four-year apprenticeship supported by Leeds City College
- Individuals are fully supported during their apprenticeship journey by our dedicated Learning & Development Team – with an option to complete the course earlier, if appropriate
- Valuable practical and on the job experience; you will learn key skills such as working safely, communication and teamwork
- A full-time position will be considered after successful completion of the apprenticeship process for the right person
