What you'll do:
- Plan, Design and Implement network solutions to meet customer business requirements.
- Be a Technical Lead for delivery of customer network projects.
- Ensure Change Control and other mandatory processes are adhered to.
- Ensure all work is risk-assessed with the production and maintenance of H&S Compliant documentation (RAMs and Point of Works Risk Assessment).
- Where required, undertake hands-on build activity to stage, commission and install new network equipment.
- Produce customer site and solution network documentation.
- Monitor progress of activities within each project; providing regular updates to management and key stakeholders.
- Management and coordination of 3rd party suppliers.
- Provide technical support and assistance to pre-sales activity.
- Ensure technical knowledge is kept up to date and make recommendations to changes in customer technical standards.
- Work co-operatively with team members and colleagues, contributing positively and constructively to the achievement of team and organisational objectives.

- Security
- Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- Cisco Meraki MX
- SDWAN and software defined networks.
- Have practical and theoretical experience of routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP.

Who you are
- Have experience of working with (configuring and implementing) predominantly Cisco and Meraki LAN and WLAN solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Have extensive field experience including cabling and installation of networking equipment.
- Be a self-motivated individual with the ability to develop strong customer relationships as well as functioning in a team environment.
- Full SC Security Clearance or the ability to obtain.
- Project Management experience is advantageous.
- Experience of working in a construction environment (including CCNSG Certification) is desired but not mandatory.
