About Us
Greenjets is an innovative engineering company developing high-performance propulsion systems for the aviation market. Our work spans research and development, engine production, aircraft systems, technical integration, and flight testing. We are committed to delivering high-grade engineering and best-in-class propulsion for unmanned aircraft.
We do things differently. We move fast, we experiment, and we adopt technologies that push beyond the current state of the art. Our aim is to go further, faster, and more efficiently, while keeping costs competitive.
All our propulsion systems are designed, developed, and manufactured in the UK. We focus on high quality, reliable, and cost-effective products supported by a robust, secure, and ethical supply chain.
About the Job
We are looking for a BoM Controller to maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date Bills of Materials across our product portfolio. Working closely with Engineering, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Configuration Management, you will ensure that product structures, part data, and supporting documentation remain aligned throughout the development lifecycle.
A key part of the role is coordinating the Engineering Change Request and Engineering Change Order process, ensuring every update is controlled, traceable, and implemented at the right time. You will also be a key 3DEXPERIENCE user, helping colleagues adopt better ways of creating, managing, and distributing product data without relying on Excel exports.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Do
- Maintain BoM accuracy – create, update, and control Bills of Materials across all products, ensuring part numbers, revisions, quantities, and product structures are correct.
- Coordinate engineering change – manage the ECR/ECO workflow from initiation through review, approval, release, and implementation, maintaining a clear and auditable change record.
- Keep engineering data aligned – work with engineers to ensure CAD models, drawings, specifications, part metadata, and BoMs remain synchronized, identifying and resolving inconsistencies.
- Support configuration management – maintain revision histories and configuration states, and ensure product updates are released in a controlled and timely manner.
- Work across the business – liaise with Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Quality so that BoM changes, effective dates, and downstream impacts are clearly communicated and understood.
- Control supporting documentation – maintain product data, documents, and change records within PLM and ERP systems, with appropriate ownership, status, and traceability.
- Improve BoM processes – identify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce errors, strengthen data quality, and improve the flow of product information.
- Provide clear reporting – produce BoM status updates, change summaries, and configuration reports for engineering leadership and other stakeholders.
- Build 3DEXPERIENCE capability – lead user training and practical improvements in how teams use 3DEXPERIENCE to access, manage, and distribute data, supporting the move away from spreadsheet-based exports.
