Location: Redditch Town Hall with some hybrid working
Hours: 37 hours, although part time with a minimum of 30 hours will be considered
Reporting to: Engineering Team Leader
Grade 6 (SCP 19 – 24) £33,119 - £36,581 per annum
Closing date for receipt of completed online applications - 22 October 2026 midnight
We are looking for a motivated Engineering CAD Technician to support the delivery of civil engineering, drainage and construction projects across both Councils. You’ll help design schemes, produce Cadcorp/AutoCAD drawings, prepare contract documents, carry out site inspections and surveys, and assist with managing our highways, structures and property related assets.

What you’ll bring
- Experience working in a civil engineering/construction environment.
- Strong skills in Cadcorp/AutoCAD/GIS and related IT systems.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, CDM and Data Protection.
- Good communication skills and a positive, proactive approach.
- Relevant qualification (HND or equivalent) plus post qualification experience.
- Full driving licence.
