Role Overview:
We are seeking an Engineer Consultant with a strong foundation in software testing, automation, Azure engineering, and Microsoft cloud delivery. The ideal candidate will be technically curious, quality-focused, and capable of contributing to both engineering delivery and customer adoption activities.
The role will focus on cloud engineering across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, combining hands-on technical delivery with strong testing, automation, DevOps, and customer-facing consulting skills. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, validation, deployment, and support of Azure-based solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned to customer requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Azure-based solutions that are scalable, robust, and aligned to customer requirements.
- Deliver cloud engineering across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, supporting modernisation, integration, and automation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to improve solution quality, reliability, and delivery efficiency.
- Support the implementation of Azure-based APIs, workflows, and integration services, applying DevOps and automation best practices.
- Contribute to AI adoption initiatives and help customers leverage emerging cloud and automation capabilities.
- Work closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and end users to gather requirements, improve solution outcomes, and support successful delivery.
- Assist customers with operational readiness, adoption, and change management, while providing effective customer-facing consulting support.
About the candidate:
- A minimum Bachelor’s degree (2.1 or higher) is required in IT, Computer Science, or in a Technology-related field.
- 2–3 years of professional experience supporting cloud engineering, software testing, or Azure-based delivery projects.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles using C# or similar programming languages.
- Understanding of automated testing practices, test analysis, test management, API testing, and test documentation.
- Experience supporting or developing CI/CD delivery practices using Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling.
- Awareness of AI agents, generative AI, Microsoft Fabric, and adoption-focused cloud initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional customer-facing presence.
- Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail, particularly when working on testing, automation, and customer deliverables.
