Are you an experienced engineering project manager looking to lead high-profile infrastructure projects that make a real difference?
We're looking for an Engineering Delivery Manager to join our growing Capital Maintenance Projects team, delivering innovative engineering solutions across water and wastewater assets. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of capital projects while leading teams, driving performance, and shaping the future of essential infrastructure.
What you'll be doing:
As an Engineering Delivery Manager, you'll oversee the successful delivery of MEICA construction projects across clean water and wastewater operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the delivery of a portfolio of capital maintenance projects across operational sites.
- Managing procurement activities, framework partners, contractors, and supply chain relationships.
- Providing leadership, coaching, and development for Project Engineers and other team members.
- Supporting project planning, estimating, scheduling, and programme delivery.
- Ensuring all projects meet client specifications, commercial objectives, and programme commitments.
- Managing stakeholder relationships and site requirements while minimising operational disruption.
- Driving compliance with CDM regulations, Health & Safety standards, environmental requirements, and company policies.

What we're looking for:
We're seeking a commercially minded engineering professional with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience managing engineering projects within a technical and commercial environment.
- Qualifications at Degree or HND level in Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of MEICA systems, project delivery, planning, estimating, and contract management.
- Experience managing contractors, suppliers, procurement processes, and site-based construction activities.
- A strong understanding of health, safety, and regulatory requirements, including CDM.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience managing and developing teams.
