Are you an engineer who has moved into delivery leadership, or a delivery professional with experience working alongside complex engineering teams?
We're partnering with an innovative engineering and defence technology business looking to hire an Engineering Delivery Manager to take ownership of delivery capability across their West Wales operation.
We're looking for someone who understands the realities of delivering projects in a mechanical, electrical, systems, manufacturing, aerospace, defence, or hardware engineering environment, and can bring structure, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement to a growing engineering function.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created position, established because engineering delivery has historically been managed remotely from another UK site.
You'll become the local delivery lead, working directly with engineering teams, senior stakeholders, and customers to build a consistent and scalable delivery approach whilst driving continuous improvement across engineering programmes.

Responsibilities
- Drive delivery across multiple engineering programmes and projects
- Create structure, governance, and visibility across engineering workstreams
- Manage priorities, dependencies, resources, and delivery timelines
- Build strong relationships with engineering teams, leadership, and customers
- Provide clear communication around progress, risks, and delivery performance
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for process improvement
- Implement practical delivery frameworks and best practices
- Ensure engineering teams are aligned, supported, and focused on delivery outcomes
- Anticipate and mitigate risks before they impact delivery
- Champion continuous improvement across engineering operations

What We're Looking For
- Experience managing delivery within a hardware, manufacturing, aerospace, defence, or engineering environment
- A background in engineering or extensive experience working closely with engineering teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven experience implementing and improving delivery processes
- Ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong understanding of Agile, Lean, or modern delivery methodologies
- Eligible to obtain SC Clearance
