Engineering Delivery Specialist
GBP 28.50/hr (Inside IR35) · Warwickshire (hybrid potential) · 12 Months (maternity cover)
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Engineering Delivery Specialist to join a premium automotive brand. This role is integral to ensuring the precise execution of engineering deliverables, aligning with programme cycles to meet Cost, Quality, and Time targets. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact within Vehicle Groups to ensure successful programme delivery.
- Proactively monitor engineering health through agreed KPIs, identifying and resolving risks.
- Maintain the overall integrity and coherence of the programmes engineering content.
- Manage communications with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Provide regular progress reports on engineering deliverables at defined intervals.
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by the line manager in connection with the role.

Qualifications
Essential:
- Proven credibility within an automotive programme environment with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, monitoring, and controlling programmes.
- A proactive individual who embraces challenges and delivers results.
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering modern luxury.
Desirable
- Experience in automotive project management.
- Familiarity with automotive engineering deliverables and processes.
- Experience working across various corporate functions.
- Background in business transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of process improvement and Agile methodologies.
Education
- Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
Day-to-Day
- Act as the engineering delivery liaison within Vehicle Groups, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
- Monitor and report on engineering KPIs, addressing risks and ensuring alignment with programme objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain the integrity of engineering content and programme coherence.
- Provide regular updates on progress and escalate obstacles as necessary.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support business transformation efforts.

Additional Information
This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.
The role is for a 12-month period covering maternity leave. The services advertised by Premea Limited for this vacancy are those of an Employment Business.
