Key Responsibilities
MAIN PURPOSE
To manage maintenance and engineering projects as required to support business development / improvements and repair / upgrades. All projects need to be managed with a Safety First approach in line with Orbia and site processes. Good cost and time management of projects is expected. Primary focus of the role will be to support Operations. There will also be the need to support site facilities and grounds activities. The role also carries the responsibility of being the Doncaster site lead on CI activities. This involves ensuring that the site is developing its processes in line with the Global CI framework.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project management of Engineering improvement and development projects as well as new installations, ensuring safety, cost, and timescales are closely controlled.
- Develop strong and productive relationships with on-site stakeholders and key suppliers.
- Develop an understanding of the Orbia CI Framework and lead the site team in progressing the Doncaster site towards the expected standards.
- Contribute to identifying opportunities to improve Doncaster site performance i.e. safety, quality, cost saving, equipment efficiency, etc.
- Act as a key support resource for the Doncaster Engineering Manager.
- Maintain and manage the Doncaster site layout CAD drawings.
- Act as the site point of contact and control for CCTV systems.
- Keep up to speed with new technology developments with a view to implementing them (where appropriate) on site.
- Construct Business Cases for Capital Investment projects.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have experience operating as a qualified Engineer, preferably within a manufacturing environment. The post holder will ideally have technical knowledge in injection moulding, extrusion, and automated assembly systems and demonstrate excellent communication skills across all mediums with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders. In addition to organisational and prioritization skills, a high degree of flexibility is also required to ensure business needs are met.

EDUCATION
- ONC Qualified/Apprentice Trained
- HNC Qualified (Desirable)
LANGUAGE
- English (UK). Fluent.
