We're excited to be recruiting for two placement year opportunities for the 2027/28 academic year within our Bristol engineering team
Mechanical Engineering Internship
We're looking for students currently studying Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline who are keen to apply their academic knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.
You'll gain exposure to:
- Product design and development
- CAD modelling and engineering analysis
- Prototyping and testing
- Materials and manufacturing processes
- The full journey from concept through to manufacture

We're also seeking students studying Electronics, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
You'll have the opportunity to work on:
- Electronics and embedded systems development
- Software engineering activities
- Prototyping and testing
- Product development projects
- Multidisciplinary engineering teams

In both roles, you'll receive mentoring from experienced engineers, work on live client projects, and gain invaluable insight into how products are developed within a leading consultancy environment.
Many of our previous interns have gone on to build successful careers, with several returning to Ensera Design as permanent members of the team.
