Help build an engineering organisation from day one

numi is partnering with a major UK payments business that is being carved out of a tier 1 bank to become a standalone technology company. It already serves a large customer base and handles a huge share of UK card payments every day. Now it is building the engineering organisation, and the platform, to serve them properly.

The product engineering organisation will grow to 100–200 engineers across around 12 teams. It is at the very start of that journey. The leaders who join now will define how teams work, what good engineering looks like and the culture everyone after them joins.

Two levels

  • Engineering Lead: lead a single team and stay hands-on with the code
  • Senior Engineering Lead: lead other leads and managers, accountable for a whole product area

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
