Job Description

Your role

As an Engineering Lead, you will support the delivery and expansion of several specified aerospace engine Shop Visit Cost Reduction projects by driving implementation tracking, cost-benefit verification, and service cost analytics across the OEM overhaul facilities. The role will work closely with engineering, repair, operations, supply chain, and overhaul base teams to ensure technical package deployment delivers measurable shop visit cost improvements and operational benefits.

  • Experience in service cost analysis and cost-driver identification.
  • Ability to analyze invoices, scrap, yield, and turnaround-time data.
  • Track technical package implementation across engine projects and overhaul bases.
  • Collect, validate, and interpret data to verify project benefits.
  • Develop leading indicator cost insights to support business decisions.
  • Prepare analytical reports and data packs for Service Cost Gate reviews.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Required

  • 6+ years of experience in aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO).
  • Strong knowledge of aero engines, inspection procedures, and repair standards.
  • Understanding of overhaul-base operations, engine-strip processes, repair workflows, and component rejection drivers.
  • Experience in cost-benefit analysis, service-cost reduction, invoice analysis, and benefits realization.

Preferred

  • Ability to interpret large datasets and translate findings into practical engineering and operational actions.
  • Experience developing dashboards, management reports, or decision-support packs using tools such as Microsoft Excel or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with OEM manuals, regulatory compliance, and aviation safety standards.
