Take ownership of trade management system buildouts at one of the most successful macro funds in the world.
This is a fund that hires the brightest technologists it can find and puts them right at the centre of how the business operates. Technology is not a support function here. It is a core part of how alpha gets generated, and you will feel that from day one.
You are leading the design and development of the order management system, working directly with portfolio managers to understand what they need and building the tools that help them trade better. You are shaping the architecture, making the key decisions, and driving the buildouts end to end.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The team around you is exceptional. These are people who take their craft seriously, move quickly, and care deeply about getting things right. The culture rewards ownership and clear thinking over hierarchy and process.
