Job Description

More about our mission and what we offer.

Wise Business is on a mission to make international business banking faster, easier, and more transparent. We build products that help businesses of all sizes manage money across borders, send and receive payments, hold and convert multiple currencies, and simplify their day-to-day financial operations. Our work helps business customers around the world save time, reduce costs, and stay in control of their finances.

Our teams are distributed across multiple locations and work closely across product, engineering, design, operations, and commercial functions. With an ambitious roadmap ahead, we’re focused on expanding our global reach, improving the customer experience, and building reliable, scalable products that support the evolving needs of businesses worldwide.

What will you be working on?

In This Role You Will

  • Partner with Product and a cross-functional team to shape the roadmap, set the technical and product vision, and ensure we deliver scalable, resilient solutions.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a talented group of engineers — helping them grow, removing blockers, and enabling them to do their best work.
  • Ensure strong execution: clear planning, realistic commitments, and healthy team operations.
  • Stay close to the tech and the product — setting high standards for engineering quality and leading by example.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Work with other engineering leads across Wise to keep the team aligned with our wider technical strategy and long-term architecture.
  • Own hiring, development, and long-term impact of your team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
