Job Description:
As an Engineering & Maintenance Co-ordinator, you will support the Engineering Manager in delivering a comprehensive engineering and facilities service across the Processing Centre. You will play a key role in coordinating daily engineering activities, driving preventative maintenance initiatives, improving equipment availability, and ensuring engineering resources are deployed effectively.
This role requires a proactive and organised individual with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. You will also deputise for the Engineering Manager when required and help drive continuous improvement across the department.

What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinating the day-to-day activities of the engineering team.
- Managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and engineering priorities.
- Supporting the resolution of equipment breakdowns and maintenance issues.
- Using the CMMS to plan work, maintain records and manage stock control.
- Managing contractors and ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Identifying opportunities to improve reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Deputising for the Engineering Manager when required.
What We're Looking For
- Engineering apprenticeship, qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge.
- Experience coordinating maintenance activities within a fast-paced operational environment.
- Excellent planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- PLC knowledge would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience with conveyors, baling equipment, and automated systems is highly desirable.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and health & safety.
