We’re bringing our platform and existing tools together to create a more connected, scalable experience with a clear focus on making the customer journey simpler and better. We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to help lead this work and shape what comes next
This is a people, technology and delivery-focused role. You’ll lead an engineering team, stay close to the technology, and work with Product, Implementation and the wider business to improve the platform, elevate the customer experience and deliver high-impact change. You’ll have the opportunity to take real ownership of our internal tooling and customer portal creating a stronger foundation for the future. You’ll also help drive improvements in AI engineering practices and delivery to continually improve how we build and operate.

What you’ll be doing as an Engineering Manager
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team, creating a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Own the front-end engineering experience of our platform, ensuring it delivers a simple, scalable and customer-focused experience.
- Bring existing tools and systems together into a more connected, modern platform.
- Own and improve the sandbox to implementation journey, working closely with Implementation and customer-facing teams.
- Partner with Product, Implementation and wider business stakeholders to turn customer needs into impactful engineering solutions.
- Drive engineering delivery and prioritisation, removing blockers and ensuring high-quality work is delivered at pace.
- Improve engineering practices across quality, scalability, reliability and productivity
- Explore and apply AI technologies to improve our platform, engineering capability and customer experience.
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction, helping shape the platform roadmap and ensuring engineering priorities support our wider business goals.
- Develop future leaders, helping build greater leadership capability across the function.
- Support the UK engineering team in delivering larger, strategic and high-value projects.

What you’ll bring to the Engineering Manager role
- Proven experience leading and developing a high-performing engineering teams and/or Engineering Managers.
- A strong track record of delivering complex technology projects successfully, on evolution of our customer-facing platform.
- Excellent people management, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing third-party development teams, suppliers or technology partners.
- The ability to build trusted relationships quickly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive, delivery-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- The ability to see the bigger picture and connect engineering activity to wider business objectives.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple teams, priorities and projects.
- A good understanding of software development, Agile methodologies and modern engineering practices.
- Technical credibility is important, but deep hands-on coding experience is not
- Champion quality, scalability, reliability and modern engineering practices.
- Experience using AI technologies to improve our platform and ways of working.
Where you’ll work
Our working model varies depending on the specific role and team requirements. We strive to provide flexibility whilst ensuring that each position is best supported for optimal collaboration and performance.
The Engineering Manager position ideally requires you to be in our London office a minimum of one days per week.
