Engineering Manager
Salary: £100,000–£110,000
Remote First, London once per month
We're working with a growing technology organisation looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to help shape culture, elevate engineering standards and build high-performing teams. This is a hands-off leadership role focused on people management, coaching, pastoral care and creating an environment where engineers can thrive.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and developing engineers, team leads and future leaders
- Driving engineering quality, standards and best practices across multiple teams
- Improving ways of working, delivery effectiveness and team health
- Coaching managers and engineers to reach their full potential
- Partnering with Product and Delivery teams to support successful outcomes
- Building a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and engineering excellence

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams
- Strong people management and coaching skills
- Passion for developing others and building great team cultures
- Experience improving engineering processes, standards and delivery practices
- Comfortable operating across multiple teams and stakeholders

A background in Python, TypeScript and/or GCP would be beneficial, but it's by no means essential. We're far more interested in exceptional people leaders than technology specialists.
