Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Travel & Expense Context

Travel & Expense is part of Spend Management. The product area focuses on two connected customer needs: helping employees manage business travel and helping employees submit and receive reimbursement for out-of-pocket, policy-based spend.

The squad works across:

  • Travel management: trips, hotel booking, travel budgets, approvals, travel policies, booking, and post-booking experiences.
  • Expense management: expense claims, mileage, per diems, reimbursement status, and local compliance requirements.
  • Spend connectivity: links between trips, cards, expense claims, invoices, accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Platform and integrations: external travel suppliers and internal payment, identity, security, and financial services.
  • Customer outcomes: adoption, activation, repeat usage, CSAT, reliability, operational cost, and spend captured through Spendesk.

The squad operates with strong ownership. Engineers participate in quality assurance, production support, documentation, and continuous improvement. The team works in short iterations, uses customer and product data to guide decisions, and maintains a focus on reliability, security, compliance, and measurable business impact.
