Job Overview
The System team in Central Technology are responsible for researching new system technology ideas for Infrastructure, Mobile, Automotive, and Embedded markets. We are looking for a high-energy, motivated leader to help drive team delivery of technology ideas and specifications. We are seeking an engineering leader to work alongside technologists, system architects and project and program managers to lead the planning and delivery of technology across multiple initiatives and provide a high quality of service to technology recipients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project managers, system architects and technologists to develop plans that enable the delivery of new technologies spanning Infrastructure, client and automotive segments.
- Managing roadmaps and overseeing the delivery of technology.
- Working alongside project and program managers, engaging with the commercial teams to provide status updates on technology delivery.
- Developing and maintaining medium-term plans.
- Collaborating with wider engineering teams to facilitate the transfer of technology.
- Driving group engineering reviews and engineering alignment discussions.

Required Skills And Experience
- Proven leadership experience in RTL-based IP or semiconductor technology sector
- Deep technical understanding of end-to-end development flows spanning requirements capture, technology investigations through to RTL IP product and silicon delivery.
- Experience in resource allocation planning, project planning and critical path analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills to identify and prioritize key activities while driving and supervising the vital discussions and outcomes.
- Motivating and inspiring project teams
- A growth mindset, attention to detail, and an excellent work ethic is a prerequisite.

“Nice To Have” Skills And Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of system technologies, for instance, bus interconnects and SoC architectures.
- Project and program management experience of complex projects and/or programs.
- An understanding of the ISO 26262 standard for automotive based projects
