Engineering Manager (.NET / Azure)

Salary: £100–120k + bonus + pension
Location: City of London, 3 days onsite

Lead an engineering team responsible for the integration platform that connects critical business systems across a globally recognised organisation.

Oliver Bernard are hiring an Engineering Manager (.NET / Azure) to lead a team delivering enterprise-grade integrations across CRM platforms, internal applications and third-party services. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll mentor engineers, drive technical direction, perform code reviews and remain close enough to the technology to contribute when needed.

The role (Engineering Manager)

  • Lead a small team of.NET & Integration Engineers
  • Design, build and enhance APIs and integration services connecting CRM platforms and other core business systems
  • Deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions using.NET and Microsoft Azure
  • Partner with Product, Architecture and business stakeholders to deliver integration projects across multiple platforms
  • Improve engineering quality through automation, testing, monitoring and CI/CD
  • Drive best practices across software engineering, cloud architecture and systems integration

Looking for

  • Experience leading high-performing engineering teams
  • Strong technical background in C#,.NET and Microsoft Azure
  • Experience delivering enterprise integrations between CRM platforms and other business-critical applications
  • Knowledge of Azure Integration Services, including Service Bus, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management and Event Grid
  • Experience designing REST APIs, event-driven architectures and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices
  • 5–8+ years of software engineering experience, with proven people leadership while remaining technically hands-on
