Salary: £55,000 to £57,000 (dependent on experience)

About the Business

A well-established industrial operation is currently investing heavily across engineering, infrastructure, and operational improvements and is looking to recruit an Engineering Manager to support the continued growth of the site.

This is a varied and hands-on opportunity within a fast-paced industrial environment. The Engineering Manager will play a key role across engineering, facilities, maintenance, and operational support. They are looking for an Engineering Manager who can lead from the front, drive standards, and take ownership of engineering operations across the site.

The Role of the Engineering Manager

The Engineering Manager will oversee engineering and facilities operations across the site, managing both internal teams and subcontractors to ensure maintenance, compliance, and operational performance standards are maintained.

They are looking for someone who is hands-on, enjoys being out on site, supporting the team, driving improvements, and getting involved in day-to-day engineering activities. The successful Engineering Manager can come from either a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
